Scholarships are awarded to students who have faced and overcome great obstacles in their lives who wish to pursue a career or technical education at an accredited non-profit post-secondary institution in the United States.

​Women's Cyber Security Scholarships -

Amount: $5,000 - 10 Awards
To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:
A) Be pursuing, or plan to pursue, a degree with a focus on cybersecurity or information assurance.
B) Be a senior in high school with a GPA of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale.

Scholarship for Journalism Diversity
Deadline: March 16, 2025​
Amount: $20,000
The Scholarship for Journalism Diversity Honoring Julie Schoo consists of a $5,000 one-year scholarship. The purpose of the scholarship, named for the former executive director of the National Press Club Journalism Institute, is to recruit promising future journalists who will bring diversity to American journalism. The award can be renewed up to three years, for a total of $20,000 toward educational expenses.

IAPD Scholarship Program
Deadline: March 28, 2025​
Award: $5,000; 17 awards
In addition to completing the online scholarship application form, submitted scholarship applications must include the following supporting materials to be considered:
  • A 500-word, one page essay
  • A current unofficial transcript. If are a college freshman, please send both high school and college transcripts.
  • The signature addendum page of this application, signed by both student and a parent or guardian.

Banyan Scholarship for South Asian Americans

This scholarship, dedicated to students who are of South Asian origin or descent from low-income families, will be awarded to New York City high school seniors attending college in Fall 2025. Young American Creative Patriotic Scholarship

Each year, more than 4,000 high school students from across the country participate in the VFW Auxiliary’s Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest. The contest began in 1979 to recognize up-and-coming artists and encourage patriotism in youth. National Italian American Foundation Scholarships -

 $12,000 - 200 Awards
  • Have an active NIAF Membership. NIAF memberships are valid for one year from the date of registration.  (Memberships are non-refundable.) Students may use their parent, guardian or grandparent’s membership.
  • Be enrolled in a US-accredited institution of higher education on a full-time basis for the Fall 2025 semester
  • Have a GPA of at least 3.5 out of 4.0 (or the equivalent). (Some scholarships require a lower GPA for eligibility. Students in a pass-fail system are also eligible.)
