Ascend Educational Fund Scholarship Program
A non profit that provides scholarships to high schools seniors of immigrant backgrounds in New York City regardless of national origin, ethnicity, and immigration status. They will provide two-year or four-year college scholarships to promising immigrant students in New York City who were either born outside the U.S or have two parents born outside the U.S in the range of $2500-$20000.

Ascend Scholarship Fund Scholarship 
This Spring Ascend Educational Fund will award scholarships ranging from $2500 to $20,000 to immigrant students and children of immigrants who are graduating from a New York City high school to attend public or private colleges and universities, regardless of ethnicity, national origin, or immigration status.

Banyan Scholarship for South Asian Americans
This scholarship, dedicated to students who are of South Asian origin or descent from low-income families, will be awarded to New York City high school seniors attending college in Fall 2020. Grants between $2,000 and $10,000 will be awarded annually for up to five students, and may be renewable for a total of four years based on good academic standing.

NYS Scholarships for Academic Excellence
This program provides scholarship assistance to outstanding New York State high school graduates. Each year, 8,000 scholarships are awarded - up to 2,000 scholarships of $1,500 and 6,000 scholarships of $500 to top scholars from registered New York State high schools.

Moody’s Mega Math Challenge
$125,000 in Scholarship prizes ranging from $1000 to $20,000 is available to teams of high school juniors and seniors. The competition requires students to solve an open-ended, realistic, math-modeling problem-in just 14 hours! The Challenge takes place March 2nd-5th 2018.

The Dream.US Scholarship 
The National Scholarship Award will cover your tuition and fees up to a maximum of $14,500 for an associate degree and $29,000 for a bachelor’s degree, at one of our Partner Colleges. Please note, some Scholars may be eligible for an additional stipend of up to $4,000 (or $1,000 per year) for books, supplies, and transportation. The award is renewable each year – you simply have to meet the continuing eligibility criteria.

Young Trailblazers Scholarship
The LIVE OUT LOUD Young Trailblazers Scholarship was created to provide financial support to LGBTQ+ identifying youth with financial need. Through this scholarship, LGBTQ+ youth can apply for funds to pay for education-related expenses to pursue a degree from an accredited college, university, or technical/vocational program. This year Live Out Loud is awarding scholarships of $5,000.00.

The UFT’s Albert Shanker College Scholarship Fund
Each year, the United Federation of Teachers proudly awards $1 million in undergraduate and graduate scholarships to academically excellent and financially eligible students from New York City public schools. High school seniors are invited to apply for this $5,000 scholarship. Candidates must be financially eligible and be accepted in a full-time, matriculated, degree-granting program at an accredited college or university.
