student.naviance.com/baruchNaviance is a critical component to the college application process here at BCCHS. In the college office, we use Naviance to asses students scores, identify balance in student's school choices, sending recommendations, transcripts, and much more! Not only is it useful for us, but very useful for students and families as well. Starting freshman year up until the student makes a decision on which school they are attending, Naviance is key. We encourage students to use this fantastic tool as early as possible, and become familiar with all that this site has to offer.
Parents are encouraged to explore Naviance with their child. Parents are also welcome to explore colleges using the Naviance search features. Access our BCCHS guest account here, click "I'm a guest", and use the following registration code: BaruchNaviance.

Senior Year
First things first, by the beginning of senior year you should have secured two recommenders and complete your packets in Naviance. By the second week of September, you must request their letters through NAVIANCE. For help, click here
Start listing which schools you are thinking about applying to, if you are definite about certain schools you will be applying to, add them to the "Colleges I'm Applying To." When you do this, you must also identify which application method you are using, as well as type such as "RD, EA, ED." If you are applying EA or ED it is CRITICAL that it is marked on Naviance, otherwise your recommenders will not be notified when to have their letter ready by, and the college office may not have your documents prepared on time!!!!
Your transcripts to schools you are applying to through the Common App are sent through Naviance. You must give us permission to do so by linking the Common App FERPA waiver with Naviance. Further instructions found here
Please, keep your list of colleges that you are applying to up to date a soon as you make choices to apply, not apply, add a school, remove a school. All schools should be listed on Naviance by the end of September for those applying EA/ED. By the first week of November for RD.
