Signing the FERPA Waiver/ LinkingCommonApp to Naviance
After creating your CommonApplication account (make sure you use the same email as your Naviance account), add the list of schools you will be applying to (College Search-> Look up school -> Check box next to school -> Click Add). After the list is created, click my colleges, and you will see the missing documents for each college, for example: Questions, Recommenders & FERPA, Review & Submit.
Hit the "Questions" box and go through, answering all questions. In the "Education" section, make sure you update all of your BCCHS information, as well as your accomplishments, rigorous coursework, etc.
After saving this information, go back to the "My Colleges" and Click the missing documents once again. You will see a box that says "FERPA Release Authorization" RELEASE IT! You must check all the boxes and waive your rights.
After this is done, login to your naviance account, then click the colleges section. The box on top will prompt you tolink your CommonApp with Naviance.
Put in your email and birthdate, and Naviance will automatically be updated with the list of colleges you are applying to, and we will be able to release your records!
